Best Restaurants in Milos
For a small island that not too many people know about, there seems to be no shortage of great restaurants on Milos. Whether you find yourself waiting for a ferry in Adamantas, getting lost on your way to the colorful fishing port in Klima, or catching the sunset in Pollonia, you can count on being well fed.
After an adventurous day of exploring the island in search of the best beaches, we decided to drive over to Pollonia to catch what our Airbnb host promised to be a stunning sunset. There are several great authentic Greek restaurants, gelato shops, and boutiques in this adorable town.
However, when we strolled past a trendy looking sushi restaurant, I knew there was no other choice for me. It helped that as we walked by another couple was raving about their meal to the owner.
As we sat down with our drinks, the sunset really began to put on a show. In the remaining light, we were served a delicious spread of fresh edamame and sushi rolls. My favorite was, of course, the salmon teriyaki roll. I highly recommend a meal at Hanabi Seaside Sushi if you get the chance.
Afterwards we hurried home, willing the dusk light to last a little longer. The island is so isolated that when darkness falls, it gets very dark and makes the winding roads even more intimidating. Luckily, it takes no more than a few minutes to get anywhere on the island.
