Summer Florals in Croatia
One of my most requested posts is to share what I pack for my trips, so I am planning to start incorporating more style posts, as well as, full packing guides for certain destinations.
For our trip to Croatia, I knew it would be really hot in August and I wanted to find something light and playful to wear to dinner or for exploring the town. I happened to find this new to me LA-based brand AFRM at Nordstrom, and I fell in love with their whole summer line.
Outfit Details: AFRM Crop Top, AFRM Floral Midi Skirt, Jeffrey Campbell Raffia Sandals, Tory Burch Aviator Sunglasses, Shiraleah Woven Tote Bag, Kendra Scott Bracelet (similar), Nadri Criss Cross Ring
I ended up buying this pink floral matching set to wear around Dubrovnik. The pink color is what convinced me, it’s just so feminine and beautiful. You can find the same print in this dress, this top, or these paper bag pants. I plan on re-wearing the skirt with a white top or sweater and the top with a jean skirt this fall since it stays warm in Houston throughout the year.
I also bought this light pink polka dot dress seen in my last post. Both of these outfits were perfect for staying comfortable in Dubrovnik’s intense summer heat. I paired both outfits with these raffia sandals that have become a staple for me this summer. They are very comfortable to walk around in and look so good with jeans and dresses.
Typically, when I pack shoes, I try to pick only one pair of sandals that will go with every outfit in my suitcase. In Hawaii, it was these espadrille wedges, and in Europe the raffia sandals were perfect for transitioning between summery outfits in Croatia to city style in Paris. I’m currently eyeing these strappy block heel sandals for a future trip.
