Upon booking our trip to Santorini, there was one boutique hotel I knew I had to experience. I was so pleased to find that Charisma Suites still had a room available for us, and was able to grab a great deal here. If you are booking a honeymoon or special occasion trip, look no further.

Charisma Suites went above and beyond to make our stay special, with a complimentary bottle of champagne and fruit plate upon arrival, as well as, glasses of champagne each night to toast the sunset. The location is so convenient to all of the picture perfect viewpoints in Oia, as well. In fact, one night we watched the sunset from our own balcony and then easily ran to one of the viewpoints to get the classic Santorini photo before nightfall.

We booked the beautiful Infinity Pool Suite because that was the only room available out of only eight total rooms. However, I feel the need to mention that you could easily book one of the rooms without a pool and possibly have the gorgeous, main infinity pool to yourself since most rooms already have a pool or jacuzzi.

In our case, we thoroughly enjoyed all of the luxurious amenities of our top tier room. We loved relaxing on our daybed in the hot Santorini sun and taking in our endless view of the sparkling blue waters against the caldera backdrop. Every evening the amazing staff made sure to arrange our breakfast preferences for the next morning. We would wake up early, wrap ourselves in the cushy robes, and watch the sunrise over the caldera as we enjoyed our freshly prepared breakfast.

One of the things I loved about this hotel was how it was designed to feel like you are staying in a luxury cave. I'll never forget arriving to our room. The sun was just beginning to set, crowds were beginning to gather on the streets to watch the view we had a front row seat to from our own balcony, and Andrea Bocelli was playing on the speakers on our room. I laid back on our plush king sized bed, so glad to finally be checking off this major bucket list item.

Back on our veranda we popped the champagne and toasted to another successful trip to Europe! I know I can't wait for the next one. Where should we go next?
